  • # Amroth

  • Buy more – save more.

    Klares Konzept…

  • Warten auf die Fähre

  • # To lounge or not?
    That is the question.
The ferry offers a priority lounge.
With snacks, drinks and pleasant seats.

Normally i am not the „premium“ guy.
But given the length of the travel it might actually be very refreshing.

  • # When will we sleep tonight?
We will start the journey around 00:30 and drive straight to the ferry.
    1h check in time.
    1h crossing the channel.
Then x hours drive from Dover to Amroth in Wales.

    Not much air for sleep.
    This will be interesting.

  • Things to take

It would be nice to leave all this at home. But some of it may be needed

  • Pre-Hike

Last weekend on our pre-hiking the Uplandsteig (Sauerland, Germany), we made it into television. Hessenschau reported about the hiking marathon and we happened to pass the camera.

  • The Path

This is the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
We will be hiking it northbound, starting in Amroth and finishing in St. Dogmaels.

  • Peparing

    Preparing for a vacation.
    This time: Wales.
We will be hiking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for 16 days.
    A lovely 300km and ~ 5000hm elevation gain.

Still we need to pack our stuff, get it all in the car and then, around 00:00h leave towards the Dunkirk ferry.

It will not look like in the picture. But it will be sprectacular on its own.
